Sheet Cutting

Cutting, also known as die cutting, is a metal fabrication process that uses upper and lower blades to cut straight lines on flat metal stock without burning or melting it. Cutting is quite common in the industry due to its efficient and inexpensive nature. It also creates clean cuts with almost no waste in the form of chips.

The cutting department at Rastahl offers the fastest and most cost-effective option for cutting sheet and plate. Our skilled operators can meet a wide range of tolerances and our CNC back gauge allows us to deliver our high standards for quality control. In addition, thanks to the blades used in our shears, there is no loss of kerf as in other processing options.
