Laser cutting
Rastahl has a highly controlled environment for laser cutting, resulting in a stable, reliable and highly accurate result. In this cutting technique, a focused laser beam is directed at the material causing the material to melt and evaporate. High pressure gases are used in conjunction with the laser beam and the cutting head moves through the material to create an exothermic reaction. This provides a high-quality surface edge and more precise cuts using less energy than comparable metalworking techniques.
Precision laser cutting leaves the cleanest edge and tightest tolerances of all the machining methods we offer. Our CNC lasers are capable of cutting steel, stainless steel and aluminum in various grades, alloys and thicknesses. DXF and/or DWG drawing files are required for your custom laser cut parts, but our experienced estimators can design your drawing for you and work with you to ensure your parts produce the final results you're looking for.
